Hey Mark,
You guys must have passed me on the water at Rooster (hanging on like a monkey to a fully depowered 5m yellow kite)! I was there until the same time, and saw your fellow downwinderers packing up in the parking lot as I left. Really beautiful day!
See you out there if we get another sunny day in PDX / windy day at Rooster.

Laura Yes I saw you!! Windy for sure. Looks like tommorow will go as well. I plan on being there earlier before the rains come. Hope to see you there.

Yeah, rooster was blasting and no kites up at 1pm cause it was too windy! I was waiting down there with some fellow kiters to see if the wind would come down a bit, and ended up on my 5.5m at about 2:30 cause I was feeling feisty and didnt have much more time to wait. Extreme survival kiting, masochistic fun! When I came in, a kiter on the beach had been reading the meters and said it was gusting to 47mph while I was out. Its better than crack!!

Oh man was it nuking at RR. Was totally powered up on my 6m RPM. Time to start looking for a 4m. One of the rare days where there were more windsurfers than kiters though!! Sweet NUCLEAR session!!!
