Quite tasty Sol! Great timing as the snow season begins to get amped up. The quotes and vibe by you and Aaron are loaded with truths so I'm with Kraemer...don't make that porn too good. Very Happy Just kidding...bring it so more locals start exploring.

That looks like something I should be getting involved in... but I really don't have the means to buy a snowmobile and tow it etc. Also, I've looked through the forum and interwebs for info on local spots and wind conditions without finding much to go on. Too new, I guess. Thought about trying the big open field west of the palmer lift...

You don't have to have a sled to snowkite. It helps..but park and ride is an option but prepare to travel to find it. The challenge is consistent wind so the skunk factor can be high. If you really want to try it plan on hitting Snowkite Soldier in Idaho, typically in late February. Open up a good week of your time so you can to improve your wind odds. Noah in Montana and Wayne in Wyoming also hit it consistently. (All on this forum)

When Something Stronger came out in 2007 that helped open up a lot of eyes globally but kudos to Aaron Sales (Kiteboarding magazine) and Alex Peterson for giving it more USA media exposure. I am surprised too it's not more well known...but everything Matt and Aaron say in their video is the gospel. When it's on.....frozen water kiting gives liquid water kiting a run for it's money on the fun factor IMO. Shocked

Nice job Aaron, Matty, and Richard.

Very cool that someone finally got this project done. I loved how you guys convey the objective of snowkiting is freedom and getting away from it all.... right on! Well, Matty after snowkiting with you and Jason over 50 days last year. I don't know if my knees and back will hold up until I'm 80 years old. But I'm sure we will be getting after it as old crusty fuddy duddies for a long long time. Just no more 300 fter's please....unless your on a speedwing! Wink
