Looking to fill a gap in my 9m - 13m quiver. Looking at both kites. I am more freestyle/wave and not interested in wakestyle. Should I bag the C shapes altogether then? Vegas boasts 3 wingtip options but didn't see if Fuel did. Also own two North bars. One 5 line, other four line. Could these bars be used on a Fuel? Preferring an 11m so Fuel has 11 where Vegas is 10 or 12.
Thanks,

Is this even a question? Vegas if you want good wave performance and still like kite loops and c-feeling. Fuels are sick too but not as much depower. |

I bought a Vegas 9 this year to try it out and I find myself hoping for 9m winds.
I haven't been on a C kite for years and things have really changed. They have huge range, depower almost as much as the Rebels, but are super quick turners. They jump higher than the Rebels, but don't have quite as much hang time. They are kitelooping machines and have a more consistent pull through the loops than any kite I've ridden.
I'm mostly a freeride guy and ride a twinny most of the time. I haven't tried anything but factory settings on the lines, but I haven't felt the need. Mostly it is for making the kite less responsive for freestyle, which is not really my bag. |
