Thanks for the 411. Ultimately chose SPI over Maui or Baja or Hatteras for now as I can drive to SPI quickest and it has reliable internet. Can't drive to Maui and Baja doesn't have reliable internet for work. Will see you guys down there in November! Stoked!

We should be rolling in to SPI around the first of November, give or take a few days. Can't wait to get out in waves while the water is still warm!

Not sure yet on the snow kite events but Best is thinking about it.

We're looking forward to Hatteras next month. Like Carol mentioned it was a bit difficult to find things open late in OBX but the kiting was fun. Love the downwinders on the ocean side and in the slicks.

Food?
Ate here every night for our 9 day stay at SPI. No reason to search any further. Great selection of on-tap, and good food at around $10-$12. Had wind every day in late October.

Air Padre in my opinion is the only kiteboarding shop to go to. Jeff is a great guy who will do almost anything to keep the customer happy. I tomahawked an older Rebel (very large panel tear) and he promised to have it done by the following afternoon when I dropped it off. Cell phone rang half-way through dinner... "Come and get it". $90. Clearly he dropped everything and got on it.

What size kite(s) would everyone recommend for SPI in mid-late November? I have a 10 and a 13. think that would do it?

From what I hear, I would definitely pick up a 6 or 7.
