Hi, I'm new to the sport and looking for recommendations for kite size for the Seattle area - what do most people use? I am thinking 14-16m to start out - looking for a cheap used kite. Any suggestions? Thanks! |

If your just getting into it a 12m would be good to have for Fall around Seattle then in about 3 months you will wish you had a 9m and sometimes smaller. If you are on a budget or you want the best of both worlds you could pick up a 12m and 7m Waroo. The overlap and range of those two kites have been proven very effective for many conditions. Good luck with your kiting. Seattle has some awesome winter kiting conditions IMO.
