Get one of those diaper style one's. It should fit well with your male pattern baldness Razz

I also have renegade and it is super comfy. Forrest do you use that spreader strap down and if so does it make a big diff?

In my experience, North Air Styler harnesses seem to work the best. What other harness has an air pump to get the perfect fit and not ride up, at all! Reminds me of having Rebok pumps when I was a kid. They are like 200 bucks but worth it.

I just picked up the Mystic Code 01. The fit and back support is second to no other harness I have worn.

The North Air Styler is a beautiful harness but I have been seeing the air bladders fail with even moderate use. (Several of my friends own this harness). With that being said North has been great about getting them replacement bladders.

The mystic looks nice. It has always before been a little skinny for me. With two crushed discs in my back I use the Naish Cartel.

Good back support without being too stiff and intrusive. For me this has been a good harness:

I've had three Mystic harnesses. They've all delaminated.

I tried a bunch of different harnesses last year and I ended up buying a 2010 North Styler. It fits better, its easier to adjust, and it still looks brand new after 2 seasons of use.

+1 on the North Styler

- haven't tried the pump since the bladders blew out in my Nordica Downhill Boots...

Hi Brian,

Hope all is well with you and the fam.

STAY AWAY FROM MYSTIC CRAP!!

My impact harness ripped apart. Then I jury rigged it, and that even ripped out.

I don't know who runs their R&D, but they suck big time.

Mystic "Molds" most of their harness's in such a way that delamination could become an issue especially with the older models.

With that being said the Code 01 is not made in a way that any of the construction could potentially delam. (I own a 2008 Mystic Warrior and while my harness is perfect I have seen others that have not stood the test of time like my warrior has.)

Best of luck in your search.

my mystic blew apart also. shitty construction. webbing pulled right out at the stitching anchors. will never buy mystic product again. especially since they wouldnt even consider a refund or discount on a new one.

best harness ive ever owned is the DaKine Renegade. runner up is the DaKine Pyro

Windance has last years models on sale right now and a decent selection. size down one size. if you are L normally, get a M. they stretch out over time.
