As usual the popular press take on kiteboarding is a little sterile and lacking in accuracy, but its worth a look:

Huh!?

Laura Maher has been kiting longer than 90% of the people on this forum. She learned back in the no lesson, shitty kite, we didn't have a clue what we were doing Hood River days...

When I see you out next, I'll send her over to kite loop on your head...

Take it easy there BamBam, it was only a joke.

For some reason the story just put this image of this obese lady from supercuts heading down to the spit to go kiteboarding.

Sorry about the quick fingers, and yeah if you did not know Laura that is a pretty funny image...

Had to come to the quick defense of my local town ripper chicks... Not many of them around...

No big deal, I'm just watching the clock at work. More of a typing without thinking thing.

It is kind of funny though. How many kiteboarding hairdressers do you think there are in th entire world? Like 3 maybe?

She sounds hardcore though. Got love women that get out and push themselves.
