Days are getting shorter, air is getting brisk, summer is going to end soon. Sad

I rekon this September is going to be way better than June was. Then you get some shroomy Fall days at Rooster with the leaves blowing. Then a trip or two. Then the coast lights up with some magical warm SW days around Festivus. Then you finally go snow kiting. Then it's Spring again.

Smile

for the beach goers the "shoulder seasons" are nice b/c the lack of extreme heat usually keeps the fog at bay, and there is almost always significant swell to be had (sometimes too significant). it's not necc. an everyday thing but the N wind forecasts are more or less accurate.

the sad part is just around the corner the N wind goes away and only the "beach bums" have the easy logistics rqd to jump on the more unpredicable S. winds. (and even then i suspect exageration...)

now if only the swelling on my sprained ankle can go down before the ocean swell comes up.....
