I'm not sure what's going on here, but I have had the opportunity to witness 2 incidents in 2 weeks where kiters have crossed lines. Saturday at Manzanita we were shooting for the ION event. I guess it must be the camera as this always attracts the kites like bees to honey!

I first witnessed fuels mating at BOTG, now waroos at Manzi!

A sphere has a volume of 4/3 r^3 and we fly our kites in 1/4 of it.

If you shorten your lines by 10% (22m to 20m) then the volume
of the sky your kite and lines can occupy shrinks by almost 25%.
