more stressfull then fun? no biggie when you get used to it?

haven't done it yet this year (not real thick fog anyway), but there was a day last year where i was just getting beaten by the waves. then the fog lifted, and kiting became ok again. from this i concluded a certain amount of visibility is mandatory. but maybe i was just being a wuss....

i guess i define thick fog as being unable to see 2 waves out. i.e. you can navigate the wave right in front of you, but the one beyond that is some vague shadow.

Looks like today's gonna be one of those days. Luckily we have a spot that usually always has a sun window, even on the foggiest of days - although often times you disappear on the outside. No biggie, as long as you don't break down out there!

I found a few spots in between Newport and Yachats that were clear when all else was souped in. Siletz bay in Lincoln city stays out of the fog as well. Not that I ever get to ride these days Crying or Very sad

Fog: "believe it if you need it if you don't just pass it on"R.H..

The less, the safer, for those who do and don't.

Sure is fun, getting good turns that noone will know, good for the soul.
