yes at the lake, it's delux.
Word of warning, don't ride the surf on the other side of the lake, the beach is a steep, pebble shore pound leg breaking hell.
Whiskey run ~10 minutes north is the spot.

there is no difference. (Boyce Cope is the name of the State Park at Floras lake).
If you have Verizon, make sure that you have all the latest roaming software upgrades. Once you are there it is too late.

You are talking about "Floras Lake State Park"?
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Bandon,+OR&ie=UTF8&ll=42.895334,-124.506512&spn=0.021379,0.054245&om=1
As you can see from the link above there are two.
What do you mean it's delux? And if you're talking about floras lake state park, are the camp sites near the lake? I want to leave all my stuff pumped up and ready to go, just like Rufus.
How about Surfing in the immediate area? Can you surf Whiskey Run?
We're going to be there August 26, 27. Anyone/Everyone is invited. Bring a tent!

Dude
Just go! Stay at Boyce cope! You'll see...Geez!
Google don't know shit! The Floras Lake state park is if you Fly in, note airstrip.
I wouldn't suggest leaving you kites pumped up there or anywhere. Unless you want them to get a suntan, windburn and maybe fly away as the wind switches around at night.
Have a good time!

I've heard there is surfing in Port Orford but when I was there I never saw anyone out. Port Orford is like 13 miles away. Also bring quarters for the showers.

It's Boice Cope Park that you want. It is a Curry County Park and not a state park. Also check out Whiskey Run (Seven Devils State Park) and be sure to stop by the Langlois store for one of their famous hotdogs. Bring all your kites.

there ain't shit at P.Orford cept surfing, you have heard of a place called Paradise which has wind when there is none around ,but the shore-pound is way more fun (to watch yer pals in) than to be in Whiskey Run is more fun .
there are showers at Boice -Cope ,get there early .Ask Willy about Paradise if you like .I have kited there in small and big swell ,way more fun in smaller ,,
cept when you fall down and get worked on the beach and can't get up

its right there at the lake... I think "Floras Lake State Park" is just some state land, there is no actual park or camping there, just some trails.
The campground at Boice Park is where you want to be, the most beautiful car camping in Oregon no doubt (stones throw from the lake.)
