spent some time in rufus with some friends camping out.
left on the 4th because it looked a little flat for wind.
here's some images I caught before the end of the day on sunday.
sunday was a pretty good 10m day. water so flat down by the silos.

that last pic was a full on water bromance. pic is actually mike hill and me riding in the middle of the river seeing how close we could ride together in 10m and rufus chop. with a gopro mounted to the twintip, would be awesome to get one of those shots with rider jumping on the back of another rider's shoulders..

Jim,
Thanks for taking the photos. That first shot looks like I'm testing the water before I wipe out.

Those are great shots!
I just bought a new camera (Cannon EOS & some extra lenses) more or less to take pics of kiting. Went to Hatty & took pics of the boys at REAL. So bummed. There were 5 guys that were absolutely amazing to watch & I didn't do them justice. I must have taken a 1000 photos, only a few turned out. Any advise?
My best shot...
PS. I feel like a total moron..when I try to upload a picture on this forum where it asks to insert attachment file, I always have to reduce the image & can only seem to post one at a time. How do you post so many quality images all at once?

I'll assume most likely your images were blurred... If so maybe try shooting shutter priority mode with a fairly high speed. If overcast I shoot 600-800. If sunny anything above 1200 is great for fast paced kite action. keep ISO to below 400.
If unsure what setting is best due to changing conditions, try Aperture priority mode and set it at lowest value. that should help.
as for how I can put images on a thread without losing image quality, etc.
I image source them from an external link. this makes it easy to "share" an image on different forums. that is what the "IMG" selection is for. If you choose to do this, you must upload your image somewhere online so that you can link to it.
I've been shooting since around 2006. when I started I went through many learning obstacles and tried to learn from others. I'm still learning.
