Wow Kip, I even dragged the AHD out this weekend so I could avoid the Event Site and walk down some rocks alone without worrying about strings downwind. What high water?

CGKA is correct. Kiteboarding unfortunately is not allowed at the Hood River Waterfront Park. I'll check the signs, but there is definitely a lengthy City Council resolution spelling out do's and don'ts, and kiting is in the second category.

Thanks for the info...When I was last on site there were NOT signs prohibiting kiting in that area and there were kiters launching. |

There is a big sign near the steps into the water that says no kites including trainer kites. |
