The wind was niney/twelvish.

The current was ridiculous, which made board chasing quite interesting.

Thanks to my friends from the Bay Area, the 2nd time I lost my board wasn't so bad. They got it for me! Many deluxian thank yous. You guys were such a blessing to meet.

Rock on wid da Iron Man tour!

Was it actually windy enough or did you just make it work because you have a huge foil and big board?

Ok let me rephrase then. Would an 11 meter and twin tip have worked with the wind at SI today?

I've seen a dirty magazine and a piece of plywood get the job done.

Yes the 11 would have worked fine.

There was a couple from the bay area there on a 12 with plenty of power and they had a blast!

Man that current! I am really out of shape! Whew!

But why do you ask? Are you a "glutton for punishment" ? LOL

I drove all the way to Jones yesterday. If I had known SI was gonna work I would have saved myself an hour drive each way. Sad

Ya the current is really strong everywhere. On Monday I fell in the channel at Jones and didn't even end up too far from my board. Kite stayed in the air so I didn't have to waste time re-launching. I got pushed about 100 meters downstream before I caught up to it.

Do you guys think today will be a repeat of yesterday? I'm thinking about heading that way later.

I was there a few days ago and the term "postage stamp" came to mind. In other words, pretty damn small. Not sure when the fisherman are done but that makes the stamp even smaller.
