Seam failure caused the leading edge of my 12 WAROO to explode like a frat boy at a keg party today. Cori at new wind was super cool, and offered replacement immediately. I was sittin, chillin and adjusting my harness when the kite lightly touched the water and - BOOM . Kite routinely pumped to 8 PSI and used @ 12 times. I'll be checkin those seams regularly. -C

OK, I'm new to this, but how important is it to use a psi guage when inflating a bladder? I freaked last night when my 9M Waroo leaked out until I realized I hadn't seated the deflation plug firmly. Do Waroos carry an warrentee?

My 9 did the same thing about 3hrs after purchase. Lull in the wind. Sat on the water (no crash, gentle flutter). Leading edge on water, then a giant balloon just popped out of the leading edge. Cori refunded my money and I went on my way. Thanks Cori.
I'd rather pay a few hundred bucks more (more quality stuff out there) and not have a breakdown though.

JK - I was ridin @ the sand bar when it blew. Most of the day I was ridin @ the bridge and Wells island - I'm glad it didn't pop there - it would have been real tough to swim that thing too far when filled with water. As far as waranty - I don't know - but New Wind in Hood River is replacing the kite N/C and they were cool about it. - C
