Strapless is super bad ass. I hope all you strapped riders out there take note. This is the direction this sport is taking. All others take second place.

Oh no. Is this turning into yet another strapless (i.e. your preferred riding style) is better than everything else thread? It definitely has its place and is really cool, but I disagree that it is "THE direction" the sport is taking. There are many cool aspects/styles to kiting. Doing a strapless backroll is definitely sweet, but I don't see it taking over the sport or causing everyone to decide that twin tips or strapped surfboards are history.

Megaloop handlepasses are pretty damn cool, too, but that doesn't mean everyone is going to quit riding strapless surfboards to do them.

They have got velcro booties, thats just not possible.
But again it is Ian Aldridge and he does KILL IT on a daily basis, so maybe it is possible. Those kids can ride.
Someone needs to get those guys up here this summer to put on a strapless collective.
