Last minute video shoot at the event site & bridge

Michael Peterson, a super talented local photographer/videographer has been contracted to shoot a video for the HR Chamber of Commerce highlighting the sports and and activities in the gorge. The lighting, clouds (lack thereof), and wind seem to be lining up pretty well today and he's going to head down for a video shoot that starts at the Event Site and then heads over to the White Salmon bridge. Anyone who would like to show off their kiting prowess to help promote Hood River is welcome to come down.

We'll be pumping up at the Event Site at 5PM and then heading over to the White Salmon Bridge shortly afterward. It should go until around 7PM or when the wind dies. If you show up late, he'll be sitting on the Eastern side of the White Salmon bridge. Try to line yourself up between him and Mt. Hood.

I'll be on a black 2011 Rebel. Sorry for the short notice.

Kenja - sorry this thread has been turned into a junior high insult fest. NICE PIC, nice job getting the word out, and nice job getting in sessions for the last 8 weeks while everybody else is busy whining on their computers. I know you have more on your plate than most. Thanks for the props, DMac. This site has more testosterone than a UFC locker room.

The video features a bunch of people enjoying the activities they love in the Hood River area. After the video is launched, there will be a chance for anyone who wants to participate and submit their own HR stoke vids. Break out the GoPros. Even the haters will have a chance to show us how much better they are than us common folk. If the water isn't still too cold for them by then. Fear of shrinkage? :-)

I like how when I call a persons photo out it all of a sudden becomes personal. Some of you get it obviously, some of you obviously not. I guess I'm a douche for wanting this sport to be cooler than rollerblading.
