Just out of curiousity...Does anyone know what is up with the gravel/asphalt "parking lot" that is all chained off? It's just South of the Event site parking lot. OR how I could find out more about it?
Thanks. _________________ Be kind to Kooks |

I believe that is referred to as LOT#7, and is zoned specifically for light industrial which prioritizes it's use specifically for larger businesses to consider building on the property for long term use.
At this moment the only recreational use the Port is allowing (until is is rented or purchased) on the property is the flying of Trainer kites and R/C airplanes.
Any further user designations would require the property to be rezoned for that specific use.
Shari or Rich may be able to better clarify/comment on this. _________________ Pure Stoke Sports

The port is moving toward infrastructure development. We have made a proposal to a local business looking for a campus for their growing company, still pending. It is zoned light industrial and extends to the edge of nichols boat basin. It is the largest undeveloped light industrial property inside the Urban growth boundary, I think...
