Water is warm enough now for us OG's to not need a wetsuit! Spring has sprung and it's awesome! Get a jump on the season up north by coming down here.

Hey guys I was checking this out, but I didn't find any flights that were all that cheap. Which airline should I check, and is it best to arrive at Brownsville?

I haven't looked at the airlines to see who has the deals right now.
Brownsville is closest (35 minutes) but only has Continental and American Airlines. Continental goes through Houston, AA through Dallas.
Southwest flies to Harlingen. Harlingen is about an hour away. McCallen is also an option but about 90 minutes away.
If you've got the time it may be cheapest to fly to San Antonio and drive down. About 5 1/5 hours from SAT to SPI.

| I usually use away.com it searches all the travel sites at once. The best I found was about $350 on Continental. That's about as cheap as I have seen to get there. Brownsville is quite a bit closer and it's a small easy airport to get in and out of. You might save a couple of bucks by going to Harlingen but it's kind of a wash with how much closer Bville is. Have fun and well see you there. |
