have had rise quiver since 2007. mostly kiting in the gorge and coast. the 6/9/12 will get you on the water 99% of the time. i would definately recommend the freeride oceanrodeo bar as well. |

I'm 165 and I'm on a skim. The winds I usually kite in range from just capping (SI) to about 25mph (Jones).
The 10M seems to be the money kite for me. I've been surprised and pleased with the big range. I picked up a 12M too, but I'm not sure how much I'm going to end up using it.
Are you mostly riding the gorge? |
The Rally does span a wide range, especially if you have a couple of different boards like Steve said. I went with a 6m/10m quiver of Rallys and was nervous that I would miss an 8m in there. I'm not. The 10m is one of those magic kites that seems to be a 9m, 10m, 11m in one.
I have a 13m Key which is a delta with 5 struts as my big kite. It flies big though. I don't have a twin so it is also surfboards and skims. |
