For those of you who will be hanging around Hood River and looking for a kick-ass way to get your mind off of the heat, come check out SWANKFEST 2006 at the Hood River Marina this Saturday.

This years SWANKFEST features 7 bands, food vendors, beer garden, prizes, and is a fundraiser for a great cause. They are raising money for the local womens shelter. admission is free.
The event is organized by our good buddy Josh (owner of "That's Swank"), and sponsored by the local small businesses in Hood River (including 2nd Wind Sports and Slingshot!!).

So, if your not heading out to the Coast or want to avoid sitting on your ass in your air-conditioned home watching the Tour De France, come join us at SWANKFEST 2006 this Saturday.

Where : Hood River Marina
When : Saturday Noon- til - past dark (or til you're too tired).
Who : Too many bands for me to remember, but local sponsors are handing our prizes and auctioning off items for the fundraiser (also contributed to by your friends at Slingshot and 2nd Wind Sports)
Why : Because you like the combindation of hanging out in HR and hearing a bunch of different bands all in one venue
