this is a little off this tired old topic, but worth saying:

December is delivering, SPI has been pretty much going off this month. And still warm enough for no wetsuits in the ocean, had a good "small but clean" side off session yesterday

wind was 7m steady

here's some surfer pics, waves pick up a little bigger further down the line where we ride.

y'all are crazy not to be here for this, not that im braggin, just sayin i hope theres some amazing snowkite action going down up there or something, cause this shouldnt be so easily missed.

no one has been here since thanksgiving, and it has only gotten better since then. gonna be cold on xmas, then right back to no wetsuits.

yea thanks

JOKE is pretty bad-ass actually, just enough rocker, not too much. lot of flex, but tips dont twist out too bad. i can definitely have fun on that board. edge is thicker than i'm used to, but no prob, it rides great and feels strong.

happy holidays nw kiters

this is what always happens down here, it looks so / so, but then comes through strong (and it will blow harder than they say almost every time.) enjoy the snowkiting, frozen friends.

I think Super 8 was showing $19.99 on their sign out front. There are four or five places with signs out front so you can just drive down the road and see which one you like the look of. No need for reservations this time of year.

Tony is right about the reservations...but beware the old "lost leader"/"bait and switch"...especially after dark (when you look and feel more desperate). So, best to call (even from the parking lot), and tell them you only want the low priced room: "Is it still available? because, that's the only one I want." If you walk in and ask, you will have less leverage, when they tell you that all the $19.95 rooms are gone, and then, you will have to listen as they try to talk you into a $29.95 room plus taxes. Avoid the annoyance, by calling first.
