Any recommendations for a good chop board (not surf...yet) for newbie kiter with pending knee replacement? |

I was forced to turn to the human junk yard last year needing two ligaments to rebuild my right knee.
It's opinion of the best board is hands down the Cabrinha Caliber.
Good luck with the replacement. _________________ John

Why not a surf?
After Phil messed up his ACL he rode a strapless surf for a season. It prevented any chance his knee would get jerked around. The good part was he's gotten pretty good at riding surf and skimboard now. _________________ Join the CGKA! Membership is only $10! Sign up at http://cgka.net/become-a-member/ |

The North X-ride is incredibly smooth through the chop. I switched from a North Jaime Pro and have been really happy with how smooth it is. Absolutely cuts through chop.
My knees used to hurt after a session on the Jaime, on the X-ride, it is a non-issue.
Demo one. You will buy it.
Another board that is smooth on the chop was the Ocean Rodeo Mako, but I think the X-ride is more versatile. |
