phil and nicole, I have a fridge that would work just swell in that rig. works on DC and gas.
I can bring it down this weekend if interested.

Appreciate the offer Stringy, we got a DC fridge getting delivered today. Got it specifically because of super low amp usage which we'll need unless we want to add a lot more solar / batteries.
You should sell that fridge! Those things are worth good money... if you want to throw a deal at a kiter bro PM DrewB here, he's been looking for a new LP fridge.

Newest ambulance upgrade by PKH....after kiting having a cold beer is sweeettt
still needs a nice looking frame but it works till summers over.
We only camped Sat - Sun (just off solar) and had plenty battery left over.

Nice rig!
I have a Norcold DC fridge with an 80 watt solar panel and 2 deep cycle batteries. I can camp for ~10 days without running out of juice (depending on sun and temp).

A criticism is in order (see Exhibit A):
The 12 oz. PRB appears to have been mishandled. It demands the respect of an upright position in the door. Otherwise, nicely done.

I turned the fridge down to its lowest setting because it keeps drinks plenty cold and the condenser only runs every 20 minutes or so. It needs to be on a higher setting to make ice and keep ice cream frozen but we don't need that right now.
On the low setting the fridge seems to be doing great working with the 85 watt panel even with the crap weather. I just finally turned it off so the batteries can get topped off. Ideally I'd like the fridge to run all the time during the summer so I always have cold ones in my rig ready to go
