Good point about getting close. Seems like when ever I drag out my video camera, my subjects go on safari. Mad

Sweet shots Bammer-

The water housing looked cool. Did you have a vest for floatation or did you just use the fins to tread?

Handle Passing? I wish! Maybe I'll try some next time out......

Hey NW Kite Crue...

Starting to get the hang of the on water thing... These are still practice as I should have not even started shooting until 6pm... Notice the shadows from the 3pm high sun, although when Brad was jumping over me the high sun and clouds made for some pretty cool images... WILL GET BETTER with a bit more practice...

Da GOOD SHOTS are already being shipped off to a few editors at large.

Kite on, Jon

PS: If the kiter stars are interested in copies... Lemme know...

Hey Lance,

Yeah, definitely a bit underexposed... I set for the sun on shore, but when I gots out into the water the high clouds rolled in... No way with the bag to make changes once I was in the water... Rats....

Jon

PS: Windance party and chatting about spit to get rid of the water drops... Works well...

looking at the exif camera files from the images i can tell you that was not the problem. you were shooting aperature priority which would have adapted to the clouds and changing light.

check your exposure bias value... it's set to -1.

licking the lens port like your kissing a french whore is pretty entertaining eh?

Damn... Your good man!!! Yeah, it was biased to -1 as I was worred about overexposure from reflected light off the water... Hmmm, guess I will start playing with the bias. I checked the histogram before rolling out and had a nice center balance on the exposure, but then I was on land and not checking with water right in my face...

Learning, always learning so thanks for the insight...

Jon

PS: Kissing that whore was strangely arousing...
