looks like they come stock on the Waroo Pro:

I wonder if extra pulleys is a good thing. Would it take away from the direct feeling?

Nope... They only improve how the kite sheets...

The direct feeling you're refrerring to disapears when pulleys are added on the bar.

That's not the only significant difference in the W.P. bridal.

FYI, Take a close look at the pulley on the bridal (front)...

Notice how it's travel has been limited by two new knots........

Say good bye to invertions... not that I've had any.
I appear to be the one & only rider that honestly has had nothing but bliss from his ROOs!

You will sooner or later, I had the same experience, thinking what's everyones problem never happens to me. Now I've inverted my 7m and 12m one time each, but they straightened themeselves out and I kept riding

how does one invert a waroo? i haven't ridden tons but i think i've committed most of the no-nos and no inversions (sheet way out while sending it through the power zone, ride in winds appropriate for a smaller kite with the back lines loose, etc.)

my theory is bigger guys who always ride a 2-4m up from me are more at risk... but it sounds like j.p. is such a guy and he rides lots. pretty telling me to he hasn't inverted one yet.

on a side note, i'll bet if we collectively pester best they'll sell "improved" bridles next year, the same way they sold bar upgrades this year.

you can invert any kite. just let the lines go slack, or run it into the water while your riding at a good speed. Bow inversion really isnt that big a deal anyway its easy to undo your way more screwed if you invert a 5th line kite.

was thinking of going today but the fog looks discouraging.

Bow inversions are a pretty big deal if they happen in midair over land!

Very Happy

9/9 in the gorge on the 9m & 7m after 5 days in Rome on the 9m and two days at Manzo on the 9m.

In that I've had many opportunities to invert after crashing & burning: huck'n the bar, eat'n shit on the loops gone bad, etc. etc.

Zero inverts and no issues with it's relaunch.
I have tangled a bridal or two but with a soft bounch to the water, they've 'reset'.

I guess I'm lucky... for the moment! Cool

jp

ps. i keep the stopper on the low side Wink

The other day the 12.0 felt like it may want to flip over when de-powered in too much wind ,The feeling was more than usual luffing and some little jerks like it was going to roll ,and when powered a little jerky as well ,but it was so windy that jumping was scary but fun
I went so far and long that I got turned around a bit and landed so fast and sideways it broke off my single plastic fin, shiiiit

I think you could go a lot bigger than you should buut you might pay
