				| Wind was crappy. The beer, however, was delicious. | |

Wind was pretty good from about 6-8:30pm. Current was a bitch though.

				| I kited at Jones for 5 days, Mon to Friday last week. The pattern everyday was socked in clouds all the way to Longview in the morning, which would burn back to Jones Beach (JB) by 2:30 or 3:00. The wind would quickly build into the range of 10 to 14 meter kites depending on skill and what area of the river you wanted to kite. The wind peaked around 5 but held strong until 6:30 or later every day.
During those days the temp difference between Astoria and Longview was ~15 degrees. I didn't check the pressure, but in the future I am sure going to use that Wind on the Water link that Chooch posted.
