Hi Everyone,
The RoShamThrowDown wakestyle competition is happening this weekend. This is a "slopestyle" competition and riders will be judged on their style and ability to utilize all of the features and perform powered wakestyle tricks.
We are in need of a few volunteers. If you're interested in helping out and can spend a few hours on Saturday please send me a PM with your Name, Number, and Email Address
Thursday 7/15 - Qualifier
10:00 to 11:00 AM - Qualifier Registration, Sandbar Parking Lot, limited 20 riders
11:00 AM Qualifier Meeting, Sandbar Parking Lot
12:00 to 3:00 PM - Qualifier - Freeride, Format TBA
Friday 7/16 FreeRide Day / Photo and Video Shoot
03:00 PM Photo Shoot begins - The shoot is for invited riders and the qualifier winners. If you're not in the contest please avoid riding in the contest area during this shoot.
Saturday 7/17 - Main Event Day
07:30 AM Setup Volunteer arrival
08:00 AM Vendor Set-up
09:30 AM Comp Volunteer meeting
10:00 AM Rider Meeting
11:00 AM Competition Begins
09:00 PM Party at the British Pub
Sunday 7/18 Backup wind day.
Competition Format:
Three 8 person heats. 45-60 minutes in length.
Top two riders from each heat advance to a 6 man final.

| Forgot to mention this is an awesome spectator's event, the guys have been throwing down already, so it's pretty entertaining to watch.

This event is going to be amazing. Almost all of the best riders in the world will be riding in one of the first formally judged slider contests. Tents and seating will be available for spectators to hand out and watch the show.

We'll be down there on Saturday with the MLK boys.
2nd Wind and MLK will have a chill-out lounge area set up for people to get out of the wind and sun.
We'll have the 2nd Wind Party Trailer set up and LF Party tent as well as some furniture for the loungers.
**If everything runs perfect, we'll have the generator, stereo and fridge with drinks for those seeking the ultimate luxury accommodations.

I have a feeling that this would end up being the sad OG Class of riders and everyone would be forced to look away in pity. But, I'm always up for a challenge to make an ass of myself.

The first day was killer! Well until the wind died...
The first heat of the qualifier was completed but the second will be running today. The level of riding is amazing! Some of the best riders in the world are here throwing down.

Great job Forrest & Joby and everyone else who helped put on a great event. Loved sitting at the waters edge and soaking in the 180 degrees of entertainment from the top riders in the world

| Nice job, awesome event. I was under the impression it was just going to be local riders, I showed up for the finals and thought they were joking when the announcer said Len10 and Hadlow were up next. Wow, what an afternoon!
