His 10m kite was WAY powered and it DID relaunch, some scary shit. I heard it took a LONG time to wind up the lines and almost no time to sail/drift back to the beach. That dude is one of the coolest local windsurfer/kiter/surfer guys around, and is friends with everyone here in town. I admit though, he can take his time getting in. I once saw him break a boom on a big day, took him forever to get back in with his rig. I think he enjoys floating around in the big surf , but really he likes saving his gear. Unfortunately, he stashed his bar in the rear footstrap of his board, and guess what, it didn't make it back.
