Working in PDX and Sauvie is trending pretty well so far. What I really need is the old school sauvie forecast.

Drum roll please......

I'm heading out here pretty soon!

I would say I would give an on site report, but if it's not windy I will probably be too drunk to type.

Thanks Andy!

If anyone that has the whole "family thing" I will be hauling my 3yo and 10yo out there with me. So if you have little kids, we can do the whole safety in numbers thing. Smile

I'm here. By myself. Its whitecapping pretty good.
It almost looks doable with a 10 meter. It has some east in it.
Current is still macking so it should be good

En route. Traffic is nightmarish. Feels like Seattle. Should be solid 12 but only cause my 12 is sitting in my office...in HR

I had a great session on my 14, then decided to rig my 10. Bad idea. The wind died. I left at 630 or 7 and it was pretty light. I don't know if it came back up after I left or not.

All and all it was a fun day.

Lit enough on carl's 14 to ride a boat wake skate so that is saying something. The went surfboard, then to skim. Ocean rodeo 14 flew really nice, digging that new bar design

It was crap dude. I showed up and it looked like 10 and 11 was the size of choice - I'm thinking sweet!!! Rig up my 11. By the time I'm ready to launch - the wind dies down. So I walk back out to my car and get the 13. Rig up the 13. I'm on the water for about 10 minutes and the wind dies. I say screw it - take my wetsuit off and start rigging down. Then it picks back up and Fly Dunes starts riding an 11 and a skim. So I put back on my cold stinky wetsuit. Throw up the 13. I'm on the water 5 minutes and the wind dies. Lame. Pack everything up. I'm walking away and I see PDXF show up with his mustard/ketchup board. Everyone was leaving when he showed up. I bet he probably got the goods with some moonlight.
