I left a North Rebel 9m rolled up in my harness for a few minutes on Monday afternoon 6/14 while I limped down the tracks and rocks to grab my board.
Imagine my surprise when I came back and the kite had been picked up.

This happened just west of the white salmon river on th Washington side around 2:30. There was an almost new north kite bar and a hat too.

I would almost leave my wallet on the side of the road here and not worry. I am really hoping a good samara tin just stopped and picked it up because it looked abandoned.

Reward , please call me with any information. 239-572-0904 Charles

I hope it was a well-meaning fellow watersportsman too. In the meantime, start checking Ebay, Craigslist, and call all of the the shops.

All too often people become complacent with the gorge vibe and tink everyting's irie. It's not. Lock your cars and houses and write your name on your stuff. I-84 offers drive-by opportunity for meth-heads and petty thieves (including a fair share of mail theft in the Hood) - be especially wary when parking at trail heads.

Sorry - not picking on you Charles, just taking the lecture opportunity as summer heads into full swing. I wish I had a buck for every time I've heard "oh, I don't even lock my car/house out here... people are so cool."

OK, lecture over. It sucks to have your stuff grabbed and I really hope you get it back Dude!!

Also, I'd send word around the fishing community there if you can.
