Natester,

Thanks for letting my son and I try out your Fluid.

Good times.

Sure was enjoyable watching that excellent dude with the foil, huh?

Thanks for the invite. We really enjoyed it.

what Was up with that foil thing?? Looked like u could fly with it, scary lookin. No idea what they were trying to do but it looked sketchy. Wonder if you could jump out of a plane with it.
Thanks again to everyone who showed up!! It was a great time. Awsome weekend, great company, good wind, doesn't get much better!!
That beer was pretty freakin good Smile nut amber from fort George brewery in Astoria. Props to them for getting it to me on short notice. Glad everyone had a good time! Perry next time I'm trying out ur wake boots:)

I was headed to the coast to paraglide and thought I'd stop by to kite some on my way.

Those foils you saw were speedwings. One was an 11m and one was a 15m.

I was teaching a couple of folks I'd parked next to how to kite them. It was their 1st time ever, so that's prob why it looked sketch. That said, those guys did great for their 1st times! And ya, you fly with them. They aren't designed for jumping out of planes, but some guys do d-bag with them. They are designed to foot launch from steep slopes.

Nate, thanks again for the demo on Sunday!!! The Revolt 13 was super solid in the lighter winds and gave me quite a bit of depower when the winds really started picking up. I really loved the short bar throw. I just wished I could have tried the Bandit 9 when the winds picked up....but someone else beat me to it.

All in all, those of you who weren't able to make it out to Jones this weekend really missed out. The wind was great, it was warm, Nate had some awesome gear to demo, and there were very few people out on the water. How could you ask for a better time. Very Happy

Sorry Josh, that was me commandeering the Bandit! It was so sweet on the far side I didn't want to come back! Even with the winds on the low side I had no problem keeping that kite in the air. The kite felt really beefy, never flown a delta - it sure had a lot of range and I was able to boost for the first time AND I'm so so close to having full rotation now on my backroll! yippee...

Nate, thanks again for the grub, the sweet demos, and sharing your motor home with us all, it was really nice meeting you, and your pooch (I want to say Phoenix!) cute and sweet as a button!

Hope to c u out there again soon.

Finally good to put a face with a screen name. Funny we banter back and forth on the forum - see eachother on the water - but don't connect the two.

I'll refrain from repeating what specialk said when she found out I was Moto from the forum bwahaha!! Laughing
