I love it, and I think both of you will shred it in the kiddie pool. Yeah, I'm biased, but I love it nonetheless.
The only bad wakeskate is the one you never make...

I think our school system is letting you down.
Your title should read "Tony and I" not "me and tony" and you should try to write some complete sentences with proper punctuation and spelling. It makes what you have to say easier to understand so people will want to listen.
The board you and Tony made looks good. The finish is awesome. Maybe the Woods Class teacher should have helped you with the outline. It looks too narrow and straight compared to most wake skates out there. The rocker is simply too much for kiting.
Sorry about the criticism. It's tough to hear sometimes but if you don't let it make you mad or resentful then it might help you do better next time.
So ride your board proudly but also think about how you can make the next one better. I would be happy to help you or any other young board builders work up a design.

Kind of a buzz kill yes but I see it going one of two ways. The kids can decide to learn from what they have done and work to make it better (thereby learning allot of of truly valuable life skills) or they will say to hell with Hein, go down to the kiddie pool and be bummed when the skate doesn't work all that great and then let it languish on a shelf somewhere.
I realize I sound like a dad.. maybe because I am.. But there are many many many things in life that are exceedingly difficult to get right the very first time.

I don't know if Hein or anyone with as much knowledge of the subject could respond any nicer to "tell me what you think"
