When Dutch kiters look for a spot with good winds and a warm climat that is also affordable, than El Gouna is the usally where they end up.
On all inclusive deals Hurgada is usally about 100$ cheaper, but everyone always advises going to El Gouna.
Better and cleaner spots with steadier winds.
Hurgada is more of a city with beggars streat husslers constandlly bugging you.
El Gouna is a private tourist resort built in the desert out of nothing, so it has no locals or history.
This is safe but also very atrificial.
If you really want to see Egypte, this is not the place.
Never been there myself, but it's high on my list. |

Darkside & Martin,
Still working out the logistics and scoping out choices, however El Gouna seems better set up with less hassle. Thanks for all the info. really helps, we dont hear much about kite locations on your side of the pond here in US so its great to hear straight from fellow kiters.
Pray for wind,
Thanks
