What the hell slingshot kite is that? Did they make Fuels in 1997? I'm guessing it was an ebay purchase.

One look at those board shorts will tell you those guys were peculiar besides being dangerous kooks. It seemed like what they were really after was the
homo-hug when Mr. Boardshorts got yanked by the kite. It looked well practiced!

Does anyone have any idea where this is? It seems to me it's in Europe somewhere or at least the actual kiter isn't from the US. I feel like most American kiters rock the board shorts over the wetsuit and it seems to be the people from Europe are either just doing the plain wetsuit or the booty shorts.

after watching that video, here is what I wish I saw..
how about a local veteran kiteboarder, who might be concerned with their access issues, approach this person and tell them they can't do that at that beach. give them explanations of why and what they should do.
I've had plenty of opportunities to film the kooks doing this shit on our beaches, but you won't see any videos of the such. what you will see is me approaching the dude and getting him to land his kite and explaining to him that he is not welcomed to do that on that beach. sure I'll come across as an asshole but I did my part in preserving my riding spot. sometimes it's tough to do but easier if all of the experienced riders approach this person together.
I assume this was in florida, where they already have their share of access issues in place. be proactive. stand up for your access and don't just sit there and watch.
now if you did your part by trying to prevent this from happening, and exhausted all diplomatic solutions, then you might want to film it...
