Steal, borrow, takeover... Semantics really. I'm surprised it took this long. Basically it's just a mast track from a windsurf board (commence stone throwing). Does it work with boots? Just to clarify, I think it is a great idea. Even if it's not totally original.

If you talk to Tony about the concept, he totally gives credit to the windsurf industry. He is pretty humble about it too.

Anything is better than the current caveman system. What I'd love to see is a board that isn't $900

I'm a slingshot fan for sure but you guys also win the award this year for most expensive kites on the market. And here I thought nobody could steal that tittle from cabrinha. $1859 for a 13m kite? Dude, for all intents and purposes that's two thousand dollars. Two thousand.

Kite prices, board prices whatever. My Aviso Celeritas and RPM combo is the sickest yet!! And when I want a good martini, I shake Tanqueray, the best. No one can beat the price, performance and durability of SS.

I like the idea, but am skeptical.
What i want to know is how the flex pattern of the board is compromised?

Blog sarcasm? Or retz commenting on the combination of price and quality. Don't know but if you watch used gear classifieds I watch SS products get snapped up immediately while lower end stuff site there for a long time or are dirt cheap. Ever try to snag a used Rev? SS is high-end but I've flown a lot of them and the high-end gear is better and has better service not that there aren't some great lower cost products out there.

You are joking right? Tony is a windsurfing legend. He also made some of the very first wakeboards. The guy pretty much has built every kind of board out there.
