Recently I have seen advertisements for changing towels - here is one of them in case you don't know what I am talking about.

http://www.kiteboarding.com/proddetail.asp?prod=changingtowel

They are essentially towels you pull over you like a really long poncho. Anybody get one of these and know the quality. They are asking forty bones for a towel - lotta cash. But if the quality is good it may be worth it. I really don't want to get an indecent exposure ticket any time soon.

Those things are sweet Moto, but get two towels and goto a sewing store... They could take care of business in 5 minutes for 5 dollars.

Nice - How is the "VS" this time of year? That is the worst part about Rooster.

Or the north beach at SI.

People on this forum tend to be kind of juvenile about getting naked, or even wearing a wetsuit without trunks (LOL), but I've got to say that it's a hell of a lot easier pulling off a wetsuit when you don't have to worry about a towel.

I don't give a rats ass about people seeing me naked or offending anyone on this forum.

There's a hell of a big difference in attitude between the "if it feels good, do it" generations and the post Nancy Reagan freaked-out "just say no" generations. IMHO, the 60's were a fuck of a lot more fun.

Dunes, chill man, it was a joke! Very Happy I'm all for naked people at the beach, I think one of the most memorable threads here included some pics Mark took at Rooster. Very Happy

The VS are a different story, you even posted to that effect a while back. A bunch of guys prancing around & doing it in the bushes is considered disgusting even by most of the nudists... The guys running around there now aren't just enjoying the sun. Fortunately, they seem to be staying away from the river side of the beach right now.

I gotta say too, the "clothing optional" section should be pushed further East. It totally sucks that the best beach on the river east of PDX, often the only beach, be reserved for a very few people. A lot of families would like to go there, and whatever you say it's Bullshit to expose little kids to that.

Dang, maybe I should have put a smiley on mine too. I wasn't trying to be hostile, just opinionated.

And ya, while nude beaches are no problem for me, I'd sure have to agree with you about the crazies at RR! That used to be a popular beach until those deranged bastards chased off most of the regular naked people too.

Moto......most people are pretty liberal about seeing the junk around a beach area but towels always fall off. I use my hooded sweatshirt....tie the arms around my waist so it covers the ass with everything else facing the car. Easy to step out of the wetsuit and get your dry clothes back on quickly with no permanent damage to any little kids running around.

Are you finally retiring the Dakine ass chaps???? Very Happy

Sella - those assless chaps broke beginning of last year - they finally had enough Laughing however, they were kind of funny to wear - I always got asked about them - if I did that on purpose.

I think around regular kite spots junk is like - whatever - no one really cares. I am more concerned about going to the coast. I had a five oh roll up right when I was changing - and I was like - glad he didn't show up two minutes prior - cus he may have seen that bong I keep in my wetsuit when I kite Surprised

It's a shame that wedding dresses are only worn once. We could change all that...
