Nice !! Speaking of kite movies..does anyone know any decent kite videos that are available in bluray format? Home theater just about done..think its time for a season opener party. (still trying to track down a keg orator though).

not any that I know of... notice how slim pickings its been lately? That being said, Ben Wilson and Tronolone are supposed to be coming out with new dvds shortly and Eliot from ACL supposedly has one close to releasing as well......

Hahaha I should call my next project 'Slim Pickings'

Hey Monkey Mon... if you shoot an email about it to nateappel 'at' gmail.com I can render up a ful res 'blu-ray' file of my movie... you would just need to hook up a pc to the system to play it.

In the mean time I'll try to get the blu ray file up on a 'pay to download' system.

Nice work on 'A Year in the Life'. POV shots are money

Sweet nate. Yeah, my receiver has an HDMI input in front so I can just connect my laptop to it.

I figure T-minus two weeks to be in AV bliss:)

that was seriously an insane video!

that is exactly what i've been looking for in a kite vid. sweet shots, super sick style and format, a mix of views, top notch talent, a variety of riding styles and locations, killer music. it makes me SO hungry for more.

HUGE props! can't wait to see what's next...

I wonder if there are slim pickings because of the internet? Seriously, instead of buying a kite video they just youtube it - or watch the other hundreds of hours of kiting videos on the web fer free?

So not as many people are buying videos - so not as much money to make videos - so not as many videos.

Just a thought.

Or maybe nobody is buying videos cus the economy is crap and they don't have the cash.

Just watched this again and saw that the strapless rider is the same guy that made the Saltwater video posted this week - cool riding in both - getting the stoke going for spring...come on warm wind!
