OT: Portable Projector Question

I know this is super off topic, but this forum is full of technoids.and I respect most of the opinions of said technoids.

I would like to add a portable movie projector to the Party Trailer arsenal for parking lot and sandbar movies and slide shows. This has been kind of a side project dream of ours at 2nd Wind, and we would like to try to make it happen.

Ideally, the projector needs to be able to project strongly enough to fill at least 8-12' of screen, yet be affordable enough to not break the budget (which is pretty cheap).
There are tons of cheap projectors, but reviews are pretty crappy on these items and I feel like I have no idea what is what.

Does anyone have any suggestions, either technical or from personal experience?

If there is anyone who has a personal projector with a semi-fresh bulb and is interested in any barter/trade options, please PM me and lets talk.
