I think its funny when they talk about new technology and charging a premium for it (estimated $150K) for that hybrid boat.
the diesel electric ferry's in washington were built in 1927.
but apparently a diesel hybrid car or boat for a consumer is unattainable right now.
hahahaha
my theory is they haven't made it yet because that would be jumping ahead too far and missing out on years and years of creating tiny incremental upgrades with a large sticker price every step of the way......one step at a time. why make a car that will get 100mpg when people think one that gets 50mpg and then the next year make one that gets 55mpg and so on and so forth.
can you tell I'm a little bit bitter?
