Are you really hoping to get better gas mileage in a diesel pickup? Your legacy must get 20?

I love my 92 Corolla Wagon- 36 MPG and I can fit all my kite gear behind the back seat. If you can find one of these, I think they are hands down the most economical, practical, kite/surf beach bucket mobiles available. Funny how it costs the same amount to fill the tank as my 8-cylinder GMC pickup did 3 years ago! I really feel sorry for anyone driving one of those beasts now!

Yeah my f-350 diesel crew cab gets about 20 , the same as my suby driving like mario. I was going to run it on vege oil but it is a lumberwagon to drive to the beach and too valueable to put an d additional unneeded 20Kmiles on. Small diesel 2wd trucks get close to 40 and could run on vege and handle more like a car. And the huge benefit is that my dogs can be in the back under a canopy and not bouncin' around with us wreckin' our mellow Laughing .

what about the snow? i have not had good experiences with small 2WD pickups in the snow, even with cinder blocks in the back.

The Snow is free too, but, again, you cannot rely on it!

gov. consiparcy to keep you buying gas. i have rabbit. 40 plus mpg. run bio diesil and dont play into war and pockets of texas oil men. Good luck. I'm alllways looking at diesel options. You can import toyota motors fromm japan and canada. Put them in a toyota truck here. web site toyota diesil.com or something check it. Rightousness.
