J.Matic,
The Sandbar parking lot is open. The Event Site is closed. Both can be used to access the Sandbar.
The Event Site can be rented out by any entity for a sum of money. You and I could rent it out and kiteboard from it all day long if we wanted to spend the cash.

Just want to be sure before we pop in and get towed out like a couple of sandbagging snaggletooths from Idaho.
Who knows what's up, share details please 'cause Tonia's emails make it seem like there is NO access so GO to the coast. |
Thanks for the understanding J.Matic. You are correct in that there needed to be a slight edit in Tonia's wording to make it more clear about the sandbar access comment.

Jesus.....Anyone need some cheese with that wine...
Everyone should thank Tonia for just keep'n you in da loop...
Besides, the sandbar park'n lot is da shit.
It's an anti-kook zone but all is welcome.
If you wanna drink a cold one and hang-out with the coolest cats, come to the sand bar...if you get lost while your there, ask for the A-Train. He will direct you to the right direction.
Trust me, it's one of the best spots to just chill....

Will there be any time during the trade show which is open to the public?
I understand this is an industry event but alot of industry tradeshows I attend have a limited public time to give end users a chance to see products and create some market pull.
Surprised that with as large of a windsport community as there is in the NW that this was not part of the event. It would be great to see all the new gear!

I don't think there is going to be open to the public but the good news is you live in the kiteboarding mecca for the US. After the big wigs leave they will drop off all the latest gear to the shops and reps for you to demo just like Pepi said. Just be thankful you live in such a cool spot, its not unusual for kiters in other areas to buy kites without ever getting to demo around

Wait, there's an event at the Event Site??
Tell them to be careful of the dog pooh! (That's included for free).
