UPDATED! - End of Season Party-Sat9/12-It's LEGIT!

The CGKA is sponsoring an End of the Season Sandbar Party on Sept 12 at the HR Sandbar.

UPDATED INFO :
The Columbia Gorge Kiteboarding Association would like to invite you to an end of summer casual celebration of our year on the sandbar, with music and BBQ. Beverages are strictly BYOB and potluck contributions for food is a good idea for keeping the food flowing longer and with more variety.

Music will be provided by the 2nd Wind Party Box Trailer with Mikey J handling the music dj/mc-ing responsibilities. Depending on kiteschool lesson noise requirements, the music will start as soon as we are cleared and will not be interfering with instructors teaching land lessons.
Mikey will be taking music requests via a donation jar with proceeds being given to the CGKA and the trailer sound system upgrades. $2/5 song request.

And no fires, this should be a no brainer reason.

We have insurance and permitted approval with the Port of Hood River, so we will be allowed to stay at the Sandbar past regular closing time. BUT!, the gate will be locked by 12pm midnight to avoid any issues with security or inebriated driving.

As usual, we expect everyone to act like this is their local beach and to treat it and the property with respect. We live, eat and kite here, so lets keep on setting a good example and party with respect. Keep track of your garbage and recycling materials. If the cans overflow, do something to help by finding more bags to keep it organized.

Big shout out to Janet who got the insurance and permitting taken care of for us to being able to run this event. Thank you Janet!
