HA! That moron has now reached all the way to the NW. That fag is definitely doing what he set out to do...piss everyone off. The Chicago people don't like the shit talker b/c they are already banned from every one of their beaches and real estate is pricey. Just another squeaky wheel that needs to be greased. Everyone is asking around for that fool so he can be disposed of properly.

Everyone is a KOOK!!

It is just a matter of what level you sit at on the kook scale. Kelly Slater is right at the bottom and I am fairly close to the top. If I wore boardshorts over my wetsuit, then I would have to move up the kook scale a few more notches.

Geez, you gotta figure paddle surfing in the Great Lakes is sort of kooky. You're not exactly talking about Pipeline.

Bunch of guys, half of them paddling into 2 foot waves, the other half kiting into 2 foot waves, arguing over who is more of a kook. Very Happy

You would be suprised how big our waves can get on the south tip of Lake Michigan. With a good north wind the waves can reach 15ft quite easily. The chicago side of the lake is where all the kooks are from.

As I searched the definition of a true kook, in fear that I may be one, this is what found.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=kook

We are all kooks in some way or another.

It was funny, two weekends ago I made the fatal mistake to go to the sand bar to kite on a Sunday. The wind was ranging from 11 to 27. While launching my kite lulled and started to fall multiple times as i was moving toward the channel to find cleaner air. During that time I had multiple people (all wearing full wet suits with board shorts, board leashes and helmets) yelling get out of the way kook. Do you even know what you are doing? I had to laugh it off because I have watch many of the people on this forum who are way more experienced and better kiters than I do the exact same thing. After returning from my session, I watch those same individuals who called me a kook, back stall their kites on the sand bar and get jerked a little as they hot launched. I just said, "What a bunch of Kooks"

Be safe and go out and have fun

At 6'3'' or 6'4'' and 250lbs, I think I will let you keep on being as kooky as you wish.

Optimistic one day everyone will come out of the closet with the Kook ways and just chill...

I snapped a bridle directly outside the lineup in Florida - hard to believe as I would pass by the pod of surfers once every 15 minutes - 30 guys fighting for shoulder high waves - they split into two groups as I shamefully and slowly drifted through with my downed 12m Waroo

Expecting to get a beat down - this big dude approaches me on the beach (I'm thinking how to use the skimboard as a shield)

Saw you out there - looks fun how much does it cost?
