The majority of kiters are pretty kooky.
(especially those riding twinnys in the waves while I was working on my body dragging...)
A little higher kook factor than surfing.
Then again, most of the population is kooky.
The ants are going to take over anyway Shocked

Ha, they are just talkin shit cause they are bummin that catching their waves is so effortless for us, and when the surf starts to get good in the fall they get all amped up. They complain if there is 5 other surfers in the line up other than them selves, so this posting is no different from them finally having something most other state surfers agree with.

Im just stoked this problem does not exist in Oregon the way the spoke about it. This weekend was epic for kiting and paddle in surfing. I scored both and honestly, if a surfer wants to be paddling out when Newport and Florence is gusting into the thirties, or even the low twenties, they have no steeze to be calling us Kooks, ha!

Ill be shredding florence and Newport all fall, reguardless of the swell, and any of the surfers who would talk smack, ive prob surfed with them on numerous occasions. Call me if you wana kite big swell this fall,

Cheers

Hey Rod: Variety is the spice of life. Don't you think your being alittle "high and mighty" with you judgements? I like using both in the waves.

Here's a good place to start if you want to troll the oregonsurf forums and see what they are saying about us:

Here's a good one:

I had to give way to a surfer who had wave priority on a head high wave this weekend, he tore it up.

Haha, they clearly haven't been to the Gorge if they think all kiters are yuppie.

This weekend was not kooky except for the dancing we did on da beach. Saw lotsa riding that was better than plenty of surfers I've seen. Still reminiscing about the epic riding Cool. Can we get those barrels to go please?

that was very very distrubing - not that the surfers have the same inspid banter - but that two of them have a monkey and unicorn avatar
