Ya know, after looking at the pictures of Ventana Bay Resort, I remembered that I had an opportunity to experience the pleasure of their resort.

So I rescued some newbs kite and lines and had to land near the resort...at low tide. So I ended up cutting the living shit out of my legs and had about 15 sea urchin spins in my hand. The guy on the beach was friendly enough but walking up to the road with blood dripping down my leg and an inflamed hand one of the employees see's fit to stop me and inform me that "this is a private resort". I told him what happened and that I was just passing through in order to hitch hike back to my car.

So I get the car and drive down to their beach access to pick up my gear. So I'm schlepping up the hill to my car and putting everything in the car. And here comes another employee "what are you doing here" "I'm just loading up my stuff, had a little trouble helping someone out". " This resort is for guests only" "umm, yeah, i'm not hanging out I just wanted to throw all my gear in the car here instead of hiking all the way to the road with my flip flops that are now all covered in blood".

"Well, just get your stuff and be on your way".

In short, the employees acted like a bunch of self righteous dickheads. So I have to apologize that my car was parked on your private driveway for a total of 15 minutes. Next time you can just shoot me on site.

http://www.ventanabay.com/ is great; Stayed there many times, wide open beach without crowds and great downwinders to end the day in La Ventana

You do kind of, you were dating the chick that was camped by me or atleast she was before you came and she was the kooks kite you saved the day after, At hot springs when you and your buddy gave me a hard time after I asked why you dropped your kite so low when I was down wind tac opposite direction of you and had to drop my kite in water as to not tangle yours. Anyway no prob. almost everyone has been cool to me and helped and looked after one another every where I have been. So much better enviroment than surfing (less territorial). Not big deal just thought timing was wierd.
