Ya know I like to jump, but the real joy of riding post is in the low stuff.

The clip question may also involve what kind of bike you are riding..yes?

If you are doing 8 track and hitting big gaps with 5 plus inches of travel and a 20mm drop out you are not wearing clips, most people.

If you ride up and down hill you are probably wearing egg beaters.

If you don't know then just ride, you'll figure it out,
Ron

If anyone needs a tour, let me know. You definitely want platforms for Post if you are going to shuttle and do stunts. If you plan on riding up from the bottom, then whatever goes. Still recommend platforms, full face and leg armor, unless you like scars. Cool

Wow!

Forest, if you your front wheel is too high during a jump, if you tap the back brakes it will bring it down. Its all about staying loose on the bike. Check out the only you tube clip of one of diggers movies.. Digger was kind of a freeloading douche but he built some sick ass stuff.

I did that huck shown at 1:30. 1:40 is an excellent example of why full face helmets are Mandatory on anything over 10 feet high. You think PC has alot of trails, check out this map of Mt. Fromme in BC. That is just ONE! of the three big mountains up there.

ohh come on. Just avoid hiting trees. A nice set of body armor would be your last purchase. Chest, spine and elbow protection. By something comfortable and light. I loved my dainese safety jacket. Lots of choices these days. Ps you don't need shoulder pads - you still seperate your AC joint if you land on your shoulder.

Just stay loose, scope your landings and have your bike dialed and you'll be fine

Went to go play kickball last night with friends and tore my rectus femorus quad muscle going for the first kick of the game. Swung my leg at the ball and everything went limp, like I was swinging a hunk of meat. Then the pain... felt like someone was pull my leg off. I collapsed to the ground.

F@#king sucks I'll be off the water and off the bike because of something as stupid as this. I'll be 30 in two weeks as well, nothing like a torn muscle to remind you how old you actually are.

WELCOME TO THE WONDER YEARS! Could be worse, you could be 37. Whenever I wake up after kiting the previous day I typically feel like I have a rusty steel spine. If I have been trying to progress, I feel like a truck ran over me. Look on the bright side, at least the kiting season is rapidly coming to a close (as is the biking season).

In 2006 I was working out all winter and bought a brand new 5/3 to start kiting in march. April 6 I was playing dodgeball and snapped my achilies tendon. I watched April, May, June and July go by in a painkiller induced fog. (but I got REALLY good at Halo).
