Sick!!!
I've ridden up there with Forrest a couple times in the past weeks and it's super fun. Was able to flow over some of the small tables and did the easiest drop (on Middle School) after a couple days (seems fast compared to kite progression since I'm still a mt. bike noob). The progression and the riding definitely gets the stoke going. Lots of amazing terrain up there (at least until we get to monkeyboy's level).
Hoping to get a bike over the next month and start hitting that stuff. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

I have spent that last 8 years absorbed in the Post. First year kiting....Will trade Biking experience for Kiting experience. Interested? I went several times a week, if not daily .... this season, gone once! |

Mike, that's a good idea... Would love to have someone show me the ropes and could offer up some kiting advice too.
I'm sure it's like anything, once you've done it enough, you've done it enough. |

I've been wanting to check out Post Canyon all year but just havent made it over. I am a little concerned though that not having a downhill specific bike could be an issue after watching that. Do you guys who ride up there alot think a full suspension cross county style bike (Trek Fuel EX8) would be enough bike to handle those obstacles? Also, are clipless pedals not a good idea up there?
...Cool video, BTW! |

thanks dude!
I went down on a 10 year old HT. I think the trek EX8 would be rockin (man, nice bike!).
You may not want to hit some of the bigger drops, but then, what do I know?
we had a blast.... i'm looking at upgrading bikes, but staying in the XC range
and doing it again! |

| I think just about any type of mountain bike will do. I rode my wife's small 5 inch travel XC bike down the other day and still had a blast. |
