I had heard that people were actually questioned about what they were doing up there. Makes you realize how out of touch some people are. |

Could someone check on our house on the way down ( just joking)-
You just past it in the photo.
Zoo Bombers are a cool bunch - I like the dude who skate bombs in the Santa Clause outfit. |

| Most of us don't really go that fast, just do lots of carving to keep your speed down. Eventually it would be fun to work up to that point, but it will be a while. |

Going fast is the fun part though. because you don't have any brakes, you get to this point where you are like...oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck going to fast, going to fast and your on the edge of the speed wobbles.
But for me, that is what makes it really fun, a little danger kind of gets my blood flowing I just have to get more comfortable with more speed and sliding to speed check without the wheels grabbing.
See you guys tonight!! |

Some rain on radar, might need to say parking garage as a backup
I'm actually pretty stoked to check that out, maybe we could post zoobomb. |

I can totally understand that.
my near miss kitemares are usually the moments I enjoyed most.
I just like the forgiveness of water even though it can still hurt pretty good _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |

I've had a couple of "reality check" moments on the skateboard that ended in crashes. They haven't been too bad thus far though, of course we are wearing protective gear! (you should see Gman)
What's funny is kiteboarding/water used to seem so safe to me, but two surgeries later I am starting to re-evaluate. Sometimes actually landing tricks is the worst thing (if you land hard continually.) Or even just riding around in chop can slowly tear away at your knees.
Broken bones and skin heal, but tricky things like cartilage and rotator cuffs don't. |

I totally agree with you although I think am in denial about it a bit.
I've been noticing sore knees lately and hard landings and chop seem to be the cause.
I need to make sure I don't wear myself out too quickly. I'd like to think I have many years of living still left to do. _________________ www.youtube.com/c/christianjohnsons |

The more I skate though the more protective gear I put on Today I think its cool enough that I can use my padded leather motorcycle jacket. I typically sport a back protector, padded shorts, knee pads, elbow pads, helmet.
But like Phil says, Gman looks like a cyborg with all his pads.
I will still be at switchbacks if its drizzling we can make a call from there. |
