| I know there is a severe issue with kite boarders launching or even just loitering on the other side of the line on the bank but as far as I am aware it is still public property. I know we as recreation junkies and civilians have to dodge the occaional tourist and the ever so present abundance of goose droppings but I am sick of all the dog shit. Seriously, I could give a hoot about how friendly your GD dog is... If you are out riding lock the mut up. The last thing I want after a day of dodging long boarding sail fairys is to feel some warm, fibrous debris creeping up between my toes. I am sure you have a leash somewhere so use it. I know that you are just trying to impress tourist and the poplulation of beautiful women by riding up to shore to give your loud, obnoxious companion a kiss to show your sensitive side... But guess what? Your interest in beastiality doesn't impress me or any of the people I have shared this topic with furthermore angering us with multiple piles of gorge performance at it's best. Pick up your dog shit and save the animal love for interior walls of your home or whereever it is that you choose. Don't get me wrong, I have a dog and I love her. She is amazing but I also was raised With manners and am respectful of others. That is why she stays home when I am out on the water. Then, I take her to a dog park as opposed to sharing her feces and piercing bark with the casual walker or observor. Basically, leave the mut at home or be there with it til evolution provide your companion with a thumb so it can bag it's own shit! |

| It has been discussed multipul times, yet people are still choosing to disreguard the rules. Dirty paws on my kite, the smell of dog urine on my kite, or the poo piles that I still have to walk around is unenjoyable. Or having a dog chasing me and my kite while im in the water. Scares me a little. Im not anti dogs, but there is a rule put in place by the port. They can pull that rule at anytime and put NO DOGS ALLOWED. That would suck. My dogs enjoys a walk or two at the Event Site, but on a leash. She can run around at home, or at the Spit at the designated times. |
